For Danny’s Senior Portraits he requested an urban location near water. He chose that type of scenery because he loves graffiti (always has) and he’s a passionate lifeguard. So these two environments would perfectly fit his personality and help tell his journey.
Lucky for Danny, I’m an avid Urban Explorer and knew of a perfect spot in the North Bay, that encompassed both water and graffiti :) We planned to start the portrait session in the late afternoon, so the sun wasn’t so overpowering (like it is during the middle of the day). We agreed to meet at 3pm, so we’d have plenty of time before the sun set.
Danny brought 2 changes of clothes and his letter-men jacket. We started outside, on the rocks that lined the shore and then we headed inside to bask in the artwork that littered every inch of this building…from the floor to the ceiling!
