My super cool friend Alma decided that she needed a rockin’ maternity shoot. She shared her ideas with me, for her maternity shoot and I must say…I was excited!! I love it when clients think outside of the box and aren’t afraid to get a bit edgy. She decided that she wanted to have some [tasteful] nude portraits that would accentuate her beautiful pregnant belly. Since this was to be an in-home session, we discussed what I needed from her, her [photo] expectations, and finalized her session details. I felt 100% confident that we would knock this out of the park!
I packed a few props in my car and my camera equipment and headed off to San Jose. When I got to her apartment I was floored. She did an amazing job at prepping the area where we’d be having her shoot. She had all the furniture moved out, black sheets up on the walls (close to the window) and the shades rolled up for as much natural light as we could get. She looked absolutely beautiful and we managed to get some pretty amazing photos. By far this was one of my favorite maternity sessions to date.
Below are a few of my favorite pictures from the shoot,
